Rosella Sanders, 85, of Brazil, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. She was born on May 17, 1932, in Vigo County to Oscar and Eva (Shaffer) Hooker.

Rosella is survived by her three daughters, Marsha Mason and husband David of Brazil; Kathy Haase and husband Kenneth of Mt. Grove, MO; and Karen Haase and husband Bill of Rockville; two sisters, Shirley McLin and Mary Loudermilk, both of Terre Haute; a brother-in-law, Bob Hansen of Brazil; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Rosella Sanders, 85, of Brazil, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. She was born on May 17, 1932, in Vigo County to Oscar and Eva (Shaffer) Hooker.

Rosella is survived by her three daughters, Marsha Mason and husband David of Brazil; Kathy Haase and husband Kenneth of Mt. Grove, MO; and Karen Haase and husband Bill of Rockville; two sisters, Shirley McLin and Mary Loudermilk, both of Terre Haute; a brother-in-law, Bob Hansen of Brazil; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Kendall M. Sanders; a son, Kendall Marvin Sanders, Jr.; three brothers and three sisters.

Rosella loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially when she was working in her yard. She had a big heart for animals and was always taking care of stray cats and dogs. Rosella was a kind, compassionate, and generous soul who would help anyone.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Lilly officiating.
